Tasting Note
Initial aromas of strawberries and hint of flowers. The palate is light and delicately dry with more gentle strawberries which continue in a lingering finish
 
Winemaking
Prosecco must be made from the Glera grape (originally called Prosecco) and from the designated Prosecco DOC area. The juice is separated from grape skins immediately to retain fruit freshness and spends up to 10 days fermenting in a steel tank. Then a second special fermentation takes place which adds pressure to the wine resulting in its signature bubbles. This is followed by filtration and bottling. Since this is a Rose version, it is permitted to have up to 15% of Merlot. These gently crushed black grapes are responsible for the delicate pink colour  

Food pairing
Probably one of the most popular aperitifs, this pairs nicely with light dishes, seafood and desserts. It can also be served with fresh fruit platters and has a special affinity for strawberries.
