Tasting Note

Full-bodied and well-structured, the nose reveals a seductive aromatic bouquet with blackcurrants and blueberries mixed with leather and violet. The palate is full of freshness and well balanced with gorgeous ripe red fruits and gentle pepper notes with very soft tannins.


Winemaking

Each grape variety is harvested and vinified separately in order to respect the maturity of each

varietal. The harvest date is determined by analysis and tasting the berries. Upon arrival in the

cellar, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. The extraction is done during fermentation in

cement tanks with pumping over. The grape proportions change from one vintage to the next to ensure that the final wine is well balanced and typical of the La Vieille Ferme brand.
