Tasting Note

A medium dry wine with gentle fruit aromas on the nose and a waft of cut grass. Ripe yellow apple on the palate has some melon and citrus notes with tarragon and hazelnuts in the finish.

Winemaking

Bodegas Leganza is located In the middle of La Mancha landscape, in the heart of the Route of Don Quixote. The winery is surrounded by over 1000 hectares of vineyards of different native and international varieties including Tempranillo and Viura.

Viura grapes are selected from vineyard parcels in La Mancha. After crushing, maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at cool temperatures to preserve the fruit flavours.  

Food pairing

A food friendly wine which works well with vegetable dishes as well as fish, seafood and white meats. Try it with herb based dishes such as pasta with pesto sauce. If serving cheese, choose goats cheese and other soft cheeses.
