Tasting Note

A medium dry wine with aromas of cherries and dried figs. Red ripe berries come forward on the palate and continue on the finish.

Winemaking

Bodegas Leganza is located In the middle of La Mancha landscape, in the heart of the Route of Don Quixote. The winery is surrounded by over 1000 hectares of vineyards of different native and international varieties including Tempranillo and Viura.

Tempranillo grapes are selected from vineyard parcels in La Mancha. After crushing, maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats to preserve the fruit flavours.  

Food pairing

A food friendly wine which works well with vegetable dishes and charcuterie. Red meat dishes and grills pair nicely and this can also work with strong fish flavours such as mackerel and with rich fish dishes made with cod and salmon. Strong and hard cheeses are the best choice for a cheese board.
