Tasting Note

Lots of juicy luscious black fruit in this medium sweet wine. The palate has interesting layers of forest fruits intertwined with mocha, coconut and vanilla flavours, a touch of spice and a lovely smooth creaminess on the finish.

Winemaking

Fruity Shiraz, juicy sweet Grenache and slightly spicy Carignan grapes are fully ripened by the southern French sun. The fruit is de-stemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in tank, preserving the juicy fruit and drinkability of Grenache Noir and Syrah. Portions of the wine see some time in oak, while a touch of Carignan Noir adds dark complexity and a spicy ‘oomph’.
