Producer

California is known as “The Sunshine State” and Sun State wines capture the Californian Way of Life with vivacious lively wines showcasing varietals which thrive in one of the best winemaking regions of the world. The selected varietals are the stars of California winemaking and are presented in eye catching packaging – California here we come!

Winemaking

A red semi-dry wine made from Zinfandel grapes, which are grown on sandy, rocky and clay-lime soils of the Central Valley of California, near the town of Cutler. Wine from Zinfandel, thanks to the burning California sun, is strong and juicy, like a fruit dessert. Harvested when the berries reach optimum ripeness. Vinification takes place according to the traditional method of creating red wines including a second malolactic fermentation followed by some oak ageing.
