After years of searching for a truly memorable cru in the Lugana region, Villa Girardi discovered the Le Fornaci vineyard. It is cultivated in soil deposited by the glacier which carved out Lake Garda and characteristically yields only a small volume of the most prestigious Trebbiano di Lugana grapes.
Medium bodied, with a clean crisp freshness, hints of spice and delicious tropical fruit flavors.
