Tasting Note
A medium dry wine with aromas of red fruit leading on to a palate of cherries and berries with some savoury notes in the finish.
Winemaking
Bodegas Leganza is located In the middle of La Mancha landscape, in the heart of the Route of Don Quixote. The winery is surrounded by over 1000 hectares of vineyards of different native and international varieties including Tempranillo and Viura.
Tempranillo grapes are selected from vineyard parcels in La Mancha. Maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at cool temperatures to preserve the fruit flavours. Free run juice is used to ensure a bright cherry colours and flavours.
Food pairing
A versatile food friendly wine which works well with charcuterie and cheese platters, especially with dried fruit condiments. It can also accompany pizza and pasta dishes as well as bbq meats
