Tasting Note
Typically delicately hued Provence pink in colour, the wine has classical aromas of floral freesia, pink grapefruit, crushed strawberries and just-zested lime. More citrus flavours appear on the palate along with strawberries and some fresh juicy cherries. Balanced acidity keeps the fruit light and elegant.

Winemaking
Chateau Gigery is located in the heart of Provence, one hour from Saint Tropez.
Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah grapes are sourced from Puget-Ville and Pierrefeu-du-Var, in some of the best microclimates in Provence. There is very little gentle skin contact as the pale skinned grapes are being pressed so that the barely pink colour of the wine is maintained. Vinification takes place in steel vats with temperature control to enhance the wine’s freshness.

Chateau Gigery is presented in an elegant bottle appropriate for such a stylish wine. The base of the bottle is a glass swirl representing an open rose flower, while he label references a shower of rose petals The glass stopper represents the purity of the wine’s sophisticated flavours making this an appropriate wine for gift giving and receiving.

An appreciated aperitif, it is perfect with appetizers and summer salads, as well as in the company of grilled fish.
